Eco-Spider Technologies is a a new Canadian company working in the AG-Tech realm for consumers, focusing on providing knowledge, analytics and sensor hardware for gardeners managing flower gardens, ornamental plantings, kitchen gardens, hobby farms, community gardens and the work of urban farmers.

We are concerned with enabling food security and promoting the joy to be found in gardening at all experience levels. Eco-Spider provides education, sensors and the associated analytics, and access to a rich database.

The name “Eco-Spider” is fitting for a provider of soil sensors, manager of agricultural analytics engines and the gardening knowledge network that draws inspiration from the natural characteristics of spiders and their relevance to ecological monitoring.

At Eco-Spider Technologies we provide the gadgets to get the sensor readings about your garden, then interpret those readings for you. The Eco-Spider analytics provide detailed recommendations for soil health. Targeted advice on procuring amendments solutions and tools will be offered.

Just as a spiderweb is an intricate network of interconnected threads, the Eco-Spider environment connects soil and weather sensor readings to create a network of readings by gathering data from various reference points. This network efficiently collects crucial environmental data to add context to a single point sensor reading, much like a spider senses its surroundings within the broader ecosystem.
